Bethany is 21 years old. She is a legal assistant in a large law firm in Portland. However, she can’t get away from tapping. She currently teaches at two dance studios in the Portland area. Bethany began dancing at six years old, studying tap, ballroom and jazz. During high school, she was a member of the prestigious Jefferson Dancers in Portland and studied ballet at the Northwest Academy of the Arts, also in Portland.

Bethany has a feminine style influenced with the macho moves of her three brothers. She is an energizing and self-assured performer.

Along with her tap abilities, Bethany is an excellent public speaker. At age 9, she won the position of Rose Festival Junior Princess for the Portland Rose Festival Association. In preparation for college, she entered the Miss Marion-Polk County Scholarship Contest and was chosen Miss Marion-Polk County. Following that, she was third runner-up to Miss Oregon, winning the talent competition with her exceptional tap routine.
