Carl is 23 years old. He’s the oldest member of the group and has always been the leader. Carl was born to dance. He never stands still; he’s either tapping feet, drumming fingers, stretching, break dancing, striking a ballet position….  The list goes on and on.

Carl began studying tap, jazz and ballroom dancing when he was seven years old. During high school, Carl danced with the acclaimed Jefferson Dancers in Portland. After graduation, he was accepted at Cornish College of the Arts in Seattle, majoring in dance. Carl graduated from Cornish in May, 2007.

While in college, Carl participated in a number of professional performances in Seattle, Whidbey Island and New York City. In these shows, he’s performed ballet, modern and tap. Carl is currently a dance member of the Seattle Opera and will perform with them in September, 2007.

Carl also has extensive experience teaching tap and hip hop at dance studios and master workshops throughout Oregon and Washington. His creativity as an entertainer and a tap dancer puts him in an elite class of performers and his timing, sense of rhythm and syncopation add to his flair and fast feet to make him awesome to watch.
