Lloyd is 19 years old and attends Western Oregon University. He wants to be a high school history teacher. Lloyd began dancing with his older brother and sister when he was four years old. He easily picked up the steps and routines from his dancing siblings. Lloyd performs with his brothers in the summer and teaches tap and hip hop. His style of dancing is smooth and suave, shifting focus from the stamina needed to perform the strenuous routines. Lloyd also emcees the shows, joking with the audience members and announcing the next numbers. He has a quick wit and good sense of humor.
Lloyd modeled professionally during his senior year of high school. He enjoyed the experience, but had to choose between moving to the east coast to pursue that career or go to college. Lloyd picked higher education. During the school year, he trades his tap shoes for track spikes. He currently runs the high and low hurdles and the 4x400 relay for Western Oregon. He was 17th in the nation for high hurdles at his conference level as a freshman. As a sophomore, Lloyd is living off campus and learning how to go to school, hold down a job, cook for himself, and run track -- all at the same time.
